Our content and your content
Original copy, selection, structure, illustrations, designs, software and KOMPLIST branding are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Except where the law permits, do not copy, republish, scrape systematically, redistribute, sell or commercially exploit them without written permission. Third party names, photos, maps, posters and information remain the property of their respective owners; appearance in the app does not transfer their rights. Please report a rights concern by email with the relevant URL and evidence of ownership.
Hosting and external services
The app is currently hosted with Infomaniak. When you choose external maps, partner sites, WhatsApp or other outgoing links, their own terms and privacy notices apply. We do not control their availability or content. Contact us before relying on a listing for an urgent or safety critical decision.
Privacy
Controller and scope
This notice covers the free and Premium Bali guides, purchases, access recovery, partner enquiries and contact. AP SOLUTIONS CONSULTING LLP is the controller of personal data processed by KOMPLIST.
What we use and why
If you send a partner proposal or email, we receive your name, business, location, email, optional WhatsApp/social links, proposed offer and message so we can assess and reply to your request and discuss a possible agreement. We use this for pre-contract steps and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We publish a partner offer after agreeing its terms with the partner. Editorial listings may draw on public information and can be reported for correction. Your saved places and personal notes in this preview are stored on your own device; this build does not send them to our server.
Newsletter and promotional messages
Downloading a free guide, sending a partner form or contacting us does not subscribe you to news and offers. We send electronic marketing only where a valid opt-in or another lawful exception applies, with a way to unsubscribe in every message. Operational replies to your enquiry are separate from marketing.
If you separately choose to receive updates, we store your email address, language, UTC date, form source, consent wording and version, and request status in a private area hosted by Infomaniak. We send a confirmation link and only confirmed addresses can join the mailing list. Future update messages will include an unsubscribe link. You can also write to info@komplist.com.
Guide launch announcements
If you opt in to an announcement for Bali, Vietnam or Thailand, we receive your email address, destination, selected language and consent date in the info@komplist.com inbox hosted by Infomaniak. With your consent we use these details only to announce that guide. You are not subscribed to offers or the newsletter. To withdraw consent and request deletion, write to info@komplist.com. We keep the request until the announcement or withdrawal; if the guide is not released, we review the list within 12 months.
Recipients, transfers and retention
Infomaniak hosts the site and business email and may process submitted proposals. We share necessary information with an approved partner only to handle an offer or booking when needed; a direct booking or external map is governed by that provider. Contact us for current processor, hosting-location or international-transfer details before a new country or provider launches. We plan to remove unsuccessful partner enquiries no later than 12 months after the last exchange unless law, a complaint or a continuing relationship requires longer; active partnership records are kept during the agreement and as needed for legal obligations. This deletion schedule must be carried out operationally.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to processing, and exercise other rights available under your local law by emailing info@komplist.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or a competent local authority. Clearing your browser storage removes device-only notes and saved places; we cannot restore them. Do not put sensitive details in the partner enquiry form.
Third party maps
The Google Maps panel loads only when you choose to enable it. At that point Google may receive your device and network information and apply its own storage technologies. The separate terrain map loads OpenStreetMap tiles when selected, and terrain imagery can come from an additional tile provider. Those providers receive network and device information to display the map. You can use the rest of the app without opening a map. See Storage & cookies below.
Typography
Opening the app can load web fonts from Google Fonts (Google servers); the provider receives technical connection data, such as your IP address. We plan to host these font files ourselves when the production asset pipeline permits.
Price by country
To display and set the payment currency, our server sends your IP address to Country (api.country.is) and uses the country code returned. Country says it does not log requests. KOMPLIST keeps the IP/currency match in memory for up to one hour, based on its legitimate interest in showing the right price. If the lookup fails, the EUR price is used.
Premium purchases and access recovery
At checkout Stripe collects information needed for payment, including your email and card details. KOMPLIST stores the email, Stripe session identifier, currency, payment status and a random access identifier; we do not receive the full card number. We use these data to fulfil the purchase, provide and recover access, answer support requests and meet applicable accounting duties. Recovery links expire after 15 minutes. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy notice. Email info@komplist.com for retention details or to exercise your rights.

About the app
KOMPLIST helps travellers discover places, experiences and practical information. The Bali guide offers 3 free places and Premium access to the full published guide. Listings, opening hours, availability, prices, visa and safety information can change; verify important details with the provider or competent authority before booking or travel. We may correct or remove inaccurate listings.
Partners and offers
An independent partner alone determines the value, availability, restrictions, eligible bookings and delivery of its gift, discount or extra. An offer is valid only while displayed as active in the app and within its stated conditions. Show the relevant offer on your phone in the app when booking or arriving, as the individual listing requires; screenshots or old versions may be refused. The partner checks eligibility and supplies the benefit. KOMPLIST does not collect payment for partner bookings. Any applicable paid placement, commission or affiliate link must be clearly labelled. Your bookings and safety
Unless a listing expressly says otherwise, reservations, payments and the underlying service are between you and the partner. Contact the partner first for service, cancellation, refund or on-site issues; tell KOMPLIST about an inaccurate listing so we can investigate, correct or suspend it. Water, road, wildlife, wellness and other activities can involve risks; follow qualified local advice. Nothing here removes any statutory consumer right or limits liability where the law does not allow it.
Bali Premium — one-time purchase
Bali Premium costs 9 EUR, 9 CHF or 9 USD in the currency determined from the connection country, paid once with no subscription or automatic renewal. The total and currency are shown on the Stripe payment page before confirmation. The purchase covers the full published Bali selection, its map and the guide’s itineraries, including Lombok and the Gili Islands, while KOMPLIST operates the guide. Future country guides are separate. Access opens after payment is confirmed and can be recovered with the email used at checkout. An Internet connection and a recent browser are required. Partner bookings and services are separate. For cancellation, withdrawal or refund requests, email info@komplist.com. Your statutory rights remain applicable; opening access does not waive them.
Use and intellectual property
Use the app for personal planning. Do not attempt unauthorised access, automated bulk extraction, tampering, impersonation or redistribution of protected content. You remain responsible for content you send us and warrant you have permission to share business text and images. We may suspend misuse and request removal of infringing content.
Responsibility and law
We take reasonable care in maintaining our own service and correcting reported errors. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, a specific result or a partner’s performance. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or right that cannot legally be excluded. The law of England and Wales governs these terms to the extent permitted; mandatory consumer protections in your country remain applicable.
Storage & cookies
On your device
This version uses local browser storage for your language choice, saved places and private travel notes, and to remember whether you chose to load Google Maps. The travel notes and saves stay on your device in this build; removing browser data removes them. Necessary storage for your choices does not add you to a mailing list.
External map
Google Maps is not loaded in the embedded panel before you choose its button. Once enabled, Google may set or read its own identifiers and receive technical data under its own privacy notice. The terrain map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap and, when relief is selected, another terrain tile provider. You can revoke your Google Maps choice below; reload the app after revocation. External links to other providers open on their sites.
Future analytics
We have not added an advertising or analytics tracker to this reviewed build. If one is added, we must update this notice and request prior consent where required. Rejecting optional storage should be as easy as accepting it.
Premium access
A necessary cookie, secured and unavailable to page JavaScript, keeps Premium access on this device for up to one year. If you clear it or change device, recover access by email. Your browser also remembers the selected language when returning from Stripe. None of this signs you up for marketing.
